Master Nonprofit Consultant Certificate Program-seeks to train consultants to use their expertise and experiences in helping nonprofit organizations effectively achieve their missions. With a variety of developmental experiences and network-building prospects, this unique instructional program is designed to:
- Present a broader, holistic view of nonprofit organizations including their history and typical organizational needs.
- Assist in the development of a nonprofit consulting business.
- Overview the lifecycle of the consulting process including productive organizational intervention.
- Teach strategies to more effectively serve and coach nonprofit clients.
- Promote missions, values and other key disciplines that affect professional practice standards.
The comprehensive nature of the curriculum makes this course appropriate for:
- Current nonprofit consultants and social entrepreneurs.
- Business professionals interested in providing nonprofit consulting services.
- Executive Directors and other nonprofit professionals interested in transitioning from staff to consultant.
- Church consultants within religious denominations.
In addition to learning how to better serve nonprofits, participants will learn the basics of professional coaching and will complete a comprehensive business plan for their own consulting business by the program's conclusion.
