Today's economic challenges necessitate ministries and nonprofit organizations allocate resources, time, energy and money more carefully and strategically. As a result, for some organizations, forming strategic collaborative partnerships is no longer just a good idea, but instead a necessary reality of doing business. Today, alliances that combine effective strategy with efficient use of resources will be the most successful.

2012 IGNITE Greater WorksTM Collaborative is a 4-session program that equips ministries and nonprofits with the necessary tools to develop and grow strategic alliances in order to transform communities. More extensive than a single workshop in a capacity-building training, this comprehensive instruction will consist of self-assessments, group practice sessions, exploratory discussions and feedback from training facilitators and participants.

Key features include:
  • The four stages of collaborative alliances plus benefits and challenges.
  • How to facilitate agreement among involved stakeholders for smoother project implementation.
  • How to collaborate for grant/funding projects and shared services.
  • Guest panelists from government, fundraising organizations, and lenders discussing their experiences and explaining why alliances are necessary today.
  • Use of real-life collaborative initiatives by participants during the training.
  • And MORE!
IGW Collaboration Training for 2012 will include 8-hour training sessions held on March 7th, April 4th, May 4th, and May 23rd.

This program is appropriate for churches, faith-based and community-based organizations involved in or interested in fostering successful strategic alliances.
